As we are working to achieve the proper dosing of amino acid therapy to correct a person’s underlying neurotransmitter imbalances some people experience transient nausea lasting 45-60 minutes periodically throughout the day. There are many underlying metabolic imbalances that can prevent a person from losing weight. Some of them show obvious cause and effect, like an underactive thyroid that slows down the metabolism, making it very difficult to use food as fuel, which causes a person to pack o the pounds. Part 2 of this series provided more information about the first and second core beliefs in the Naturopathic Philosophy, which were (1) do no harm and (2) the body possesses the ability to heal itself if given the proper opportunity (a belief in the healing power of nature).
