I originally came to the NPHC for severe rhabdomyolsis (muscle damage) due to taking statin drugs. I have been on a program here for 4 years and 7 months.
Before starting my program I had horrible pain, about 1.5 hours of sleep per day, memory loss, could not steady my hand to write, shakes, low body temperature (94F) and could not get warm. I had trouble sitting, standing, and walking. I had severe depression. I could not understand what I would read. I had heart problems, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. I had a severe temper and no energy. I could not lift anything and could not breathe. I didn’t have any moisture in my eyes, nose or throat and I had stomach troubles.
I still have a ways to go, but the changes thus far are great. My tests are coming back great. I sleep much better. I can control my temper. I have a lot more energy. My pain is greatly diminished; if I have pain, it is mostly only during the night. I do so much more – I can lift more and I can bend more now than I did most of my life. My memory and concentration are improving. My eyes are getting better. The pain I had from shingles at age 17 is gone and my posture is amazing. The shakes are almost gone and my body temperature is perfect. My heart and cholesterol are doing great. I don’t remember being this happy! I now help others with their health. I breathe better. I can swallow better and have more moisture in my throat, eyes and nose.
